Description
The Hop Shed is an award winning brewery based on a hop farm in the beautiful Worcestershire countryside. We set up the brewery in a converted chicken shed here on the farm. This inspired the name of our brand and beers, which are all named after breeds of chickens.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 5/6/2018. Golden in colour, with a thin, white, head. Some floral hops , sweet stone fruits and digestive malts, before a moderately bitter finish. Fine.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Drapers' Arms, Bristol 2/4/2018. Amber with a slight, off-white, head. A pleasant bitter, with some citrus hops, berry fruits and rich, slightly earthy, malts, leading to a moderately bitter finish. Good.

Dan's Stag. Beer Emporium. Bristol. Cask. Clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, smooth, very modest carbonation. Lightly sweet malts with a mild sweet floral mid. Modest orangey citrus. Ripe orange. Light finish. Okay.

Cask at Beer Emporium. It pours clear yellow - gold with a small white head. The aroma is toasty grain, floral, bit of citrus and porridge The taste is dry, bitter, bit grassy, toasty grain, cereal, tannin, drying action and florals with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Fair.

Cask at the Beer Emporium - Bristol. Pours clear yellow-gold with a slim, creamy white head. English yeast in the nose, pale bread, faint lemon. Light sweet flavour, pale grains, lemon rind, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation; decent condition. Alright balance to finish, more citrus peel, lightly doughy pale bread. Not bad.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Tewkesbury Winter Ales Festival 2/2/2018. Dark brown in colour, with a thin, tan, head. Chocolate, some coffee beans and a touch of leafy, with a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at Grahams Place, Wollaston. Pours orange brown with a small head. Aroma is toast, chocolate and a little fruity hops. Taste has toast and chocolate, with a bitter finish.

Cask at the Queens Head. Pours reddy brown with a small head. Aroma is toast and chocolate. Taste is bready to start, with dark fruits and a little spicy rye on the finish.
