(Cask at Wenlock Arms, London, 1 Dec 2007) Golden yellow colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with apricots, citrus and generous amounts of grassy hops. Fruity taste with notes of apricots, citrus and lots of floral hops in the finish. Resting on a solid malt foundation with decent amounts of residual malt sweetness. Nice, hoppy beer, possibly a hint too sweet.

33 cl bottle. Batch 006: Pours pitch black with a off white bubbly head. Aroma and taste is of roasted malts - smoke, chocolate, coffee, wood, oak & ashtray. Medium bodied. Oily & creamy. Close to flat carbonation. Heavy whisky smokey notes. I PREFER AN IMPERIAL STOUT WITH LESS SMOKE & MORE HOPS .

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of Grovlam. Clear golden with a rough, white head. Extremely intense aroma of pine and peach. Fat body with plenty of malt - sweetish malt - and very fruity accents. The finish is hoppy with the fat, oily aroma hops shining through. Excellent. 301107
