Bottle 37,5 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a dissipating, off-white head. Nose has a little raisin and other dark, dried fruits, brown sugar. - a little oxidation, in a good way. Rich, sweet, malty body. Plummy, pruney, sugary with some warming alcohol. A sweet and pleasant dessert beer, but as a Quad not really all that complex. 020817

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear reddish amber with a dense and lacing off-white head. Aroma is sweet caramel and a perfumy touch. Medium body, heacy on the crystal malts with a very soft palate. There’s a distinct and solid, late bitterness. A very old fashioned malty IPA that has very few aromatic qualities. Could use some dry-hopping and perhaps fresher hops? 020817

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a pitch black with a lively, beige head with good retention. Sweet vanillaish roast aroma. Rich, malty aroma, licorice and vanilla with a very soft finish hardly without any bitterness. Very smooth and easygoing. 020817

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear orangey amber with a small, off-white head. Nose is nutty, slightly toffeeish. Rich malty body, sweet, a little molasses but never cloying. Enough late bittering hops for balance. Solid and well brewed if not exactly new or innovative in any way. 020817
