Borefts XI Day 1. Keg. Opaque black- brown beer, small pale tan head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, some dark malt cream. Mild licorice. Smooth finish. Quite a straight up Impy, didn’t get the special chocolate thing at all.

Clear purple brown beer, big creamy irregular beige head, little stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very malty, grains, hay, cow fodder, nice roast, some chocolate. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: lots of chocolate, soft roast, alcohol. Aftertaste: bit sweet, malty, chocolate, little spicy, some cinnamon.

Draft at Borefts’19, day 1. Black with a thick tan head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee, roast and caramel. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Imperfect indeed, if that's what they were aiming for they succeeded. Quite a lot of roastyness, but pretty thin and watery. Just a hint of smoke, some dark coffee.. Needs sweetness and body. Not bad, just easily forgettable.

On tap at X Zagreb. Almost black coloured, medium sized brown head, slightly acidic milky coconut nose. Light roasted malt, coconut (Bounty like taste), slightly milky caramel and sweetish finish. No hops at all.

On tap at Medulin Craft Beer Fest 2019. Thanks, Vjeko. Shared with little Dina. Dark brown to black. Small beige head. Aroma is lightly roasty, coconut in balance, red fruit, dried fruit. Flavour is balanced sweetness with roasty and bitter elements. Slightly sweet. Nicely balanced. Smooth texture. Medium body.
