Bottle at Ungstrup’s. Pours clear golden with small white head. Intense hoppy aroma with notes of grass. Ditto taste plus citrus. Rather mild aftertaste. OK but rather irregular.

Pours amber with a fading white head.Nose shows sweet malt, biscuity and bready malt with earthy, resinous and floral hops leading to orange marmalade characters.Very similar flavours. Biscuity and bready malt, lots of sweetness followed by resinous hops and marmalade.Carbonation is a little low.Real nice understated English IPA.

Bottled. Nose of cat piss, lemon, grass. Clear golden yellow color with lace. Grassy flavor, honey, peaches and esters. Decent. Didn’t move me so much.

Light golden color. Marmalade and grapefruit dominate the nose. Sweet maltiness hit the tounge initially. Fully bodied. Marmalde and lemon in the mouth. a bit thick and syrupy, but pretty enjoyable. Moderately bitter finish. A touch too sweet, but interesting.

From a 650ml bottle on3/12/2012. Pours a fairly clear light golden with a medium head. Has a slightly odd aroma with some fruity, earthy, honey and basement like notes. The honey really comes out as it warms. In the mouth, you get lots of sweet citrus fruit (orange, mandarin, stone fruit (apricot), and tropical fruit (mango, pineapple), a touch of caramel malt, and a reasonable, but far from overwhelming, hop punch. This is a decent if relatively subdued IPA, with the 7% quite well hidden.

Bottle, 8C. Clear golden amber with a large white head that lasts well. Aroma of zesty citrus - grapefruit and orange - some pine, peaches. Fairly sweet with stone fruits, boiled lollies and mango, citrus flavours drop off. The fruit’s the whole thing rather than a garnish. Quite firm bitterness and some pepper at the end but the finish kind of peters out. No sign of the alcohol, carbonation is moderate. Just not my sort of thing. Great name, though.

The aroma is all banana and bubblegum, with more banana in the mouth. There’s also a pleasing amount of light citrusy hops on the palate. A pleasant heffeweisen.
