Description
Daarin gaan we dan ook weer “all the way”.

From tap at Utrechtse Bierbrouwersfestival 2016. Aroma is roastedmalt, lots of oak, liquorice, whiskey, booze, touch of vanilla. Flavour is light sweet and rather bitter with a boozy finish. Could be a lot fuller and a bit too heavy on the liquorice for me to be a winner.

Bottle at a friend’s place. Aroma is fruity hops, a surprising amount of pine resin, tropical fruits, sweetish malt, soft caramel, mango, orange. Flavour is moderate sweet with a bitter finish. Body is medium. Wow, did not expect such a good beer, lovely fruity piney hops and a bittersweet flavour. Excellent.

From tap at 8e Pint Utrechtse Bierbrouwers Festival. Peated barrel aroma with notes of green apples, roasted malt, some iodine, chocolate, and wood. Flavour is medium sweet and bitter. Body is medium. Fairly rough barrel aging with some unpleasant flavours typical of inexperienced Dutch breweries.

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Grassy hoppy aroma with zesty citrus, lemon, herbal and light oniony hops. Flavour is light sweet with a bit of sharp bitterness, I get some hopburn. Body is light. Crisp and refreshing, just a little rough around the edges.
