Vrijwel heldere goudgele body met een fijne plakkerige witte kraag. Geur is lekker hoppig, hopbladeren, iets citrus. Retronasaal is er citrus, tropisch fruit, wat hars. Smaak is vrij bitter met vleugje zoet. Medium body. Beetje droge afdronk, aangenaam bitter.

330 ml can, as Rock City Koene Ridder American Tripel. ABV is 7.2%. Slightly hazy golden colour, some floaties in the glass. Small white head. Aroma of spicy Belgian ale yeast, stewed fruits and dust. Moderate carbonation. The medium sweet flavour has distinct peppery notes, stewed fruits again, with a distinct hop bitterness in the aftertaste.

Getting citrusy fruity notes of grapefruit and lemon, and some pineapple and melon, nice and juicy ,light malty backing, bitter edged hoppy finish. Decent for the 3.8% abv, tasty and easy drinking.

Can. Color: Very dark reddish brown, thin light brown head. Aroma: Dark malt, red wine, almond. Taste: Red wine, dark fruit, dark and caramel malt, some almond. A little sirupy. Boozy hints. Full body, below average carbonation. Medium sweet, moderate bitterness. Nice slow sipper.

(Draft at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 27 Feb 2026) Hazy golden colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity nose with notes of tropical fruit, mango, pineapple and herbs. Fruity, hoppy taste with tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, papaya, peaches, herbs, white bread and a mild citric/herbal bitterness in a slightly boozy finish. Full body, quite sweet. Rich and juicy, with some sweetness and alcohol shining through. Very nice.

Can 33cl. from an AH XL supermarket Muiden @home poured into a shaker. Hazy pale golden colour, small fizzy white head, mostly diminishing, light lacing. Aroma pale malts, wheat, lemon, lemonade, melon, some chalk, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and light bitter, malty, orange, orange pith, melon, grapefruit. Medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, semi-dry sweetbitter aftertaste, orange pith, yoghurt notes, bit bland in the finish, okay.

Fruity taste with mango, pineapple, orange, passionfruit, white bread and a mild citric/herbal bitterness. Almost full body, smooth mouthfeel. A certain sweetness. Fresh and juicy, with lots of tropical fruit. Very nice.
