Can @ home. Slightly unclear, golden body under a small, but lacing white head. Aroma has malt, citric fruits, pear and hint of toffee. Taste is sweet malt, some caramel, a bit boozy, marmalade, perfumed and quite bitter. Balanced body with an average length aftertaste that feels sweet and bitter. Surprisingly big difference between what to expect from aroma and actual taste here. Decent, but feels a bit messy in taste.

440ml can. Opaque, darkest brown colour with minimally late awakening, average, frothy, slowly diminishing, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and citrusy fruity, hoppy aroma, hints of coffee, cocoa, orange, mandarine, lemon, liquorice overtones. Taste is citrusy fruity and zesty bitter hoppy, mildly roasty and chocolately, dark malty basis, hints of cocoa, instant coffee, lemon, orange, mild coffee and hoppy bitterness, weak, citrusy tartness; a touch of liquorice in the finish, well hidden alcohol.
Oily-watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously minimally dry palate, fine, dense, soft, mildly prickly carbonation.
Relatively simple, seemingly light - acceptable.

Can. Sugary-sweet, lightly warming and boozy, but feels rather thin on the palate. Cocoa, dark chocolate, brown sugar, vanilla and a touch of dark dried fruit. Flawless, just not my kind of bock bier at all. 646311 260127

330ml can, many thanks to Frida and Esben. Pretty decent, nicely roasted, but a tad too sweet. Lactose backbone. ( Tromsø, 10.01.2026).
