Description
Founded as the McLaren Vale Beer Company in 2008, we kicked off contract brewing small runs of the original Vale Ale.
We’ve since expanded our core range to include the Lager, IPA and Amber and whilst getting creative with short batches of EXPs and Limited Editions along the way.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ The Stat Improver Tasting ] - Saxo, Højbjerg - Aarhus, Denmark. [ As McLaren VALE/IPA ].Clear medium to light amber orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, pale malt, moderate hoppy, pine, grapefruit, grass, old hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, pale malt, pine, straw, grass, old hops. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 750ml bottle from Dan Murphy, Hurstville. Golden brown colour, no head and aroma of honey, fudge, caramel, sultanas. Taste is sweet, spicy, honey, apple strudel, caramel, cinnamon, warming. Syrupy mouthfeel, medium bodied, low carbonation, drying tannic finish. Quite OK.
