Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber with floaties. Aroma and taste are sweet caramel, fruits, lots of peat in the finish. Sweet and a little cloying too.

Fast klare dunkel goldene Farbe, mittelgroße weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch nach trockenen reifen Früchten, muffig, würzig. Geschmack zunächst sehr würzig, dann kommen trockene Früchte hinzu, das ganz ist muffig und trocken, nicht so mein Fall.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Muifelbrouwerij USA IPA ].Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with a large, frothy and open, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light caramel, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, fruity hops, moderate to light light heavy yeasty, fruity yeast, dough, leather notes. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity hops, dough - yeast, fruity yeast, pale malt, fruity, yeast - minerals, fruity - tropical fruit, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20150511]

Tap at WVHNB. Clear golden with big white head. Sweet malts and caramel, roasted nuts, grapes, red apple, French herbs, yeast. Light sweet with light to medium bitterness. Medium bodied with full but soft carbonation.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, orangey, deep golden colour with average, thick, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Wheaty, yeasty fruity and cheesy aroma, hints of apricot, cheesecake, minimally herbal hoppy overtones, a touch of watercress. Taste is quite similar, less cheesy, fruity hints of apricot. OK, it’s a Wheat Ale, but definitely not a German Hefeweizen - neither if intended as imitation nor advancement of the style. However, not completely charmless.

Bottle @ DØE meeting. Pours hazy brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of malt, light yeast, caramel, little chocolate, bitter dry wood, spice, junipers, alcohol. Flavor is sweet, malty, some yeast, caramel, brown sugar, juniper, jenever, berries, wood, alcohol. Medium body, average carbonation, sweet finish with warming alcohol. 200515

pater thijs goes carribbean, 33cl 9%, rum BA, abt/quad. schenkt caramel met lichte kraag. aroma is wat zoetig maar wat vooral opvalt namelijk erg beperkt. Smaken zijn dun/waterig, eigenlijk is het maar een slap aftreksel van een quad. tevens véél te beperkte Barrel Aging, laat staan rum beleving. Volgens mij heeft het vat al 1 á 2 jaar droog gestaan voor er bier in werd gegoten. néé sorry, ik vind hem veel te beperkt !

33 cl. bottle @ home, gift from Kim and Luc. Hazy golden with a white head. Grainy lager aroma with some hops. Taste is slightly bitter and finish is dry. Not that exciting.
