wazig caramel bruin met schuimige licht kaki kraag. zeer beperkt aroma van mouten en donker fruit. smaken zijn zwak zoet, redelijk bitter, sterk, stevig moutig en kruidig. licht notig. bier is erg dun en waterig, is dit een bokbier ? ik vind het totaal niet lekker..

33cl bottle, from beerhunter111, (or MrHangover), anyway, thanks! Deep mahogany color, thick off white head, came rushing out of bottle. Sweet dark fruits, brown sugar, spicy notes in aroma. Full bodied, very smooth. Nicely balanced beer, alcohol is hidden. Raisins, yeasty notes, spices, candy sugar and toffee. Long finish.

Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy golden, small head. Light aroma of wild strawberries and bubblegum. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with notes of marzipan and bread, some bandaid. White pepper and honey in a lightly bitter finish. Pretty generic de Proef stuff.

Bottle @ Cafe Meijers. Dark red - brownish coloured, with a beige head. Nose is sweet candy, caramel, perfumy, turkish delight candy, wood, oak, vanilla. flavour is caramel malts, fruit, candied sugar, wood and vanilla. Pretty nice.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ Mitra Tiel. Hazy dark amber with a thin white head. Smokey peaty aroma. Sweet boozy smokey taste. As a whisky lover as well as a beer lover I like the idea of rhis beer but it is a bit too sweet and boozy for my taste.

Bottle at Chriso going Dutch tasting, 03/07/14. Lightly hazed dark amber with moderate light beige spotting and edgework. Nose is toffee, spice, nutty, brown bread. Taste comprises dark fruit rinds, fruit loaf, spice, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a lick of spritz, a little OTT on the carb front. So so.

33cl bottle, thanks mrHangover! 33cl bottle at pre Tuska open air rating. Deep brown, thin lacing head. Oak, caramel, sweet dark fruits, vanilla. Flavor has caramel, vanilla, oak, almond. Sweet, looong, bourbon finish. Just awesome. Alcohol well hidden. Wow.

Bottled. A hazy golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of lemons and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of straw, over ripe fruits, and malt, leading to a bitter finish.
