Description
Muifelbrouwerij is located in The Netherlands in Oss, Noord-Brabant. Our mission is to develop, produce and sell tasty and unique craft beers. We started in 2007 and we are extremely proud on our brewery and our craft beers. In our head-quarters at the Vikingenweg in Oss we have a tasting room, our warehouse and since January 2019 our own brewhouse, fermentation tanks and filling line.

The name Muifelbrouwerij might need some explanation. Muifel is a non-existing word and is derived from Megen and duivel. Megen is a small city in The Netherlands where the brewery started on small scale (20 liter brews) for private consumption. Duivel is Dutch for Devil. Muifel was the name of one of the beers from the early days, inspired by the famous Belgian Duvel beer.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Biscuity, caramel malty aroma, some straw, some pine. Taste is bitter hoppy, minimally tart, some pine, a nuttily touch, cautious caramel malty background, a touch of biscuit. Undeveloped, unexhibited hop, slightly unbalanced, inharmonic, overall boring.

Tasty quadrupel. Fruity, malty and a bit sweet of course. Especially the raisins are present, which is nice.

Just another Belgian style blond beer. The usual stuff, nothing exciting to be found here.

Weird beer. It’s golden, with a body of grainy malt. Has a smokey backbone and a strong taste of peated whiskey. Bit unbalanced, but creative.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 2 March 2014) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of grainy malt, citrus and slightly resiny hops. Malty, fruity taste with grainy malt, tropical fruit, citrus, resin and a generous floral bitterness in a fairly dry finish. More than medium body. Fresh and tasty. Nice one.
