Description
Muifelbrouwerij is located in The Netherlands in Oss, Noord-Brabant. Our mission is to develop, produce and sell tasty and unique craft beers. We started in 2007 and we are extremely proud on our brewery and our craft beers. In our head-quarters at the Vikingenweg in Oss we have a tasting room, our warehouse and since January 2019 our own brewhouse, fermentation tanks and filling line.
The name Muifelbrouwerij might need some explanation. Muifel is a non-existing word and is derived from Megen and duivel. Megen is a small city in The Netherlands where the brewery started on small scale (20 liter brews) for private consumption. Duivel is Dutch for Devil. Muifel was the name of one of the beers from the early days, inspired by the famous Belgian Duvel beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a pitch black with a creamy, light brown head. Greasy malt aroma, some licorice. Medium body, heavy roast and ashes, licorice and cough syrup. A heavy and rough malt bitterness. Not bad, but not exactly a very sopisticated Imperial Stout either. 161113

330ml bottle. Clear, pale, reddish-golden amber colour with huge, frothy, fairly lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Malty aroma with a caramel touch, grassy hoppy overtones, cautious fruity hints of rhubarb. Taste is minimally sweet, slightly fruity, rhubarb, fruit parings, a minimally yeasty touch; light body, short finish. Dunkler Bock???

Bottled. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is some sugary, quite nectary, honeyish and sweet malty notes. Flavour is rather similar, and actually this one is a very balanced and refreshing big beer. Very easy to drink, although you do feel it’s big. Clean.

Bottled. Hazy amber colour, mediumsized off-white foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is mild fruits, sweet malts, toffee, some ripe fruits as well as some mild wooden and resiny notes. Flavour is sweet malts, toffee, quite strong fruity and floral hops to it with a slight alcoholic sting.
