12 ounce bottle. Pours a very dark black color with amber tints when held up to the light, a small white head. A nutty and roast nose. A nice roast, some dark fruit, light metallic roast (which I love), some vanilla. Quite drinkable. Very good. My kind of beer.

Bottle pour into shaker pint glass. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee--a bit ashy--with hints of chocolate. Appearance is dark brown with effervescent sparkle, finger-width light brown fizzy, thin head with poor retention, light lacing. Taste is sweet, roasted malts with bitter coffee--a little too far toward the ash--with hints of dark fruits, chocolate. Palate is medium bodied with average texture and roasted/ashy, bitter finish with light fruit. Overall, this swings a little too far to the ashy side which dominates the experience.

Draft at the bar inside Lukas Liqours in a suburb of StL. Light beer for sure but overly strong carbonation for lightnes of beer . Light, acceptable diacetyl. A light green hop at the end. Wet brown soppy bread flavir with an American cleanliness and body. Too American for how I like my milds.

12oz bottle scooped up in STL. Unfiltered thick orange body. Thin, glass-rimming white head. Medium bodied. Not really that impressive of an offering. Orange, banana, mild clove. Really doesn’t come together in a quality way. Relatively weak example of the style, but still drinkable.

Pour is a clear yellow with a little red tint to it. Aroma is some cranberry with some grainy malt. Flavor is a pretty bland malt with little cranberry coming out. KInda of a bland malt with some plastic artificial cranberry that does not stand out at all. Not a well made beer.
