Description
Our story began in April 2013 with one simple mission to bring people together through our love of beer. Based in the beautiful North Yorkshire hills in Well, near Masham our 18 barrel microbrewery brews three times a week. We are a fiercely independent family brewery and pride ourselves on brewing the finest and characteristic beers.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a small head. It’s a smoothish session ale and hoppy in the main, with underlying malts.

Cask at the White Cross, Lancaster. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Light floral and biscuit aromas. Taste is bitter. Bitter finish.

28/8/2021. Cask at the 2021 East Anglian Beer Festival, Bury St Edmunds. Pours clear pale amber with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, biscuit, fruits. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation.

Cask: Poured a golden with a white head. Aroma is light fruit, malts, cardboard. Taste is nice grainy malts, very full flavored. Light citrus in the finish.

Thin beige head on a still black body. Malt, liquorice & berry aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & low carbonation. Sweet berry, malt, liquorice & roasted tastes with a tangy finish.

Cask half pint at the Old Vic, Preston. Pours clear amber with a tight off-white head. Aromas of toffee, caramel, creamy malt. Taste adds a little nuttiness. Light sweet finish.

Cask at the Scarborough Arms, wait for it, Scarborough. Pours crystal clear pale gold with a thin white head, nice lacing. Aromas of lemon, faint sulphur, creamy malt. Taste is lemon and biscuit. Sulphur lingers a bit.

Cask at the Monsal Head Hotel, 16/09/20. Amber pour with a well presented off white covering. Nose is biscuit malt, nutty, toffee, dried fruits. Taste comprises biscuit, brown bread, dried fruits, dark malts. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, light drying close with a bitter edge. Decent bitter.

Cask at the Monsal Head Hotel, 16/09/20. Clear golden with a decent just off white cap. Nose is pale malts, light citric zest, grass. Taste comprises lemon rind, straw, crackers, grains. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close. Competent gold.
