Description
Our story began in April 2013 with one simple mission to bring people together through our love of beer. Based in the beautiful North Yorkshire hills in Well, near Masham our 18 barrel microbrewery brews three times a week. We are a fiercely independent family brewery and pride ourselves on brewing the finest and characteristic beers.

Gravity cask at the Rose & Crown, Sandhurst. A bright golden amber pour with a ring of loose white head; some orange and orange zest aroma; soft caramel body with a fruity orange taste; then a dry finish with a touch of licorice adding some spice. Rather good.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Crisp golden-amber ale with a creamy head. Has a hop-malt balance and is sessionable.

Hand-pulled half-pint on 9th Sep 2016 in The Washington, Blackpool. Light golden blonde with a slight haze, white topping. decent blend with a semi-sweet nature: oranges and mild malts play together in a fairly subtle tasting beer with a light bitterness in it’s finish.

Cask @ Old Ebor, York. Golden with a very creamy head. Easy-drinking with a very mild malty nose, more hoppy in its taste and extremely sessionable.

Cask at the Fat Cat, Ipswich. Pours copper brown with a small white head. Aroma of caramel, fruit, malt, light veg. Medium sweetness, light bitterness, touch of sour. Medium body, texture has a light stickiness. Finish is dry, with a bittersweet and caramel edge.

Fra fat på Babington Arms i Derby 16 Feb 16. Delt med Rune. Gylden. Nesten ikke skum. Aroma av bær. Mest rips. Smaken tørket frukt. Bra men uvariert.

Cask at Babington Arms (JDW). Half-pint shared with Finn. Beige tophead to a clear amber body. Fair lacework. Aroma of leaves and dough, mid-sweet. Mid-sweet flavours of pale malts and leafy hops. Short bitter tail. Easy to drink. Satisfying (Derby 16.02.2016).

Pendle Beer Festival 2016. Reddish-brown with a mildly sweet but medicinal taste. It’s somewhat sugary sweet in its aroma too. Has a good body.

Cask @ New Oxford, Salford. Golden--amber with a sticky-sweet texture and an extremely thin head. Has a berry-sweetness in both aroma and taste.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Clear golden with a small head. Light enough tasting to be sessionable and fairly smooth tasting. Has a malty nose with a decent malt-hop balanced taste.
