Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thin creamy head. Hopped, but its full-body subdues this character of the ale. There’s a light citrus-sweetness to it.

[ As Pennine Natural Gold ].Clear medium orange color with a average, open and frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, light caramel, light to moderate yeasty, UK yeast, fruity notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, earthy, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140419]

Cask @ The Fox, Shipley. Copper with a thin head. Fairly ordinary session bitter with a light and drinkable maltiness.

Cask, half at Babington Arms (JDW). Patchy beige head on top of a golden-brown coloured body. Decent lacework. Dusty hops on the nose. Blended taste of toffee, earth, and herbal hops. Mild bittersweet tail. Clean in the mouth. Well made for the low abv (Derby 22.02.2015).

[ As Pennine Real Blonde ].Unclear - hazy medium yellow color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, floral, apple, green apples. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, sugary, apples, amlt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140417]

Cask @ Horse & Trumpet, Leeds. Bright orange colour with a thin bubbly head. Malts in nose with some orange fruit flavours evident in its taste.

Cask at Quakerhouse, Darlington. Clear amber colour with a ruby tinge, thin off-whote head that dissipates away and dusty malt aroma. Taste is sweet malty, light roasty, fruity, caramel, tangy with alittle bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry fruity finish. Quite drinkable.
