Cask at The Watford Beer Festival 2013. Poured a murky golden colour with a halo of white head. Aroma of yeast, cooked fruit and some straw. Flavours were lacking and what there was seemed rather wort-like. Slight funk and wet grass in there. Not in good condition.

Pale golden beer with a strongish head. The aroma is fruity, and the flavour is fruity with some bitter sourness. Overall a reasonable but slightly strange sour and bitter fruity beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On cask @ Uxbridge Arms, Chasetown - Straw coloured body with white head. A bit doughy on the nose, yeast and malt in there with a fragrant floral hop in the back. Somewhat thinnish on the palate, and a bit dull. Nothing special, but a good one to break up the dark beers.

Half, cask, shared with Finn at The Crown and Kettle. Lasting white tophead, fragile lacing. Mahogany coloured body. Grainy chocolate to the nose. Chocolate taste supported by cocoa powder offset by a dark bitter finish. A good one (Manchester, 23.01.2013)
