Cask at the Red Lion, Avebury. Filtered/fined amber-copper body. Foamy off-white head. Pleasant caramel-toffee tinged UK malts. Doughy and easy drinking. A pinch nutty, maybe a hint of amber malt. OK.

[ As Birchover Robin Hood Stride ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a small, virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt, light to moderate hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, citrus, pale malt, caramel, fruity hops, medium dry. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light toffee - butterscoth. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, toffee, caramel, fudge, sweet malt, burnt - caramelized malt. Tried at the Nottingham Beer Festival 2016. Dark amber colour with an off white head. Aroma and taste have stewed fruit and toffee. Rich smooth body.
