Draft @ Hops and Barley, Berlin. Couleur paille léger trouble, col blanc moyen. Arôme est basique avec un bouquet pomme modéré et qui va directe au but sans offrir plus de complexité, perçoit qcq pointes de purée-pelure, mais sans plus. Palais de pomme assez moyen, râpeux sur une bonne effervescence. Côté un peu soda avec une pomme ayant un profil chaire pelure donnant cette arrière-goût de pomme pressée sans vraiment offrir un côté alcoolisé même minime. Sec et crisp avec un combo suret/sucré. Correct mais un peu unidimensionnelle.

Draft @ Hops and Barley, Berlin. Dorée, claire avec un col blanc moyen. Arôme offre un bouquet houblonné assez neutre et dans une tradition noble très européen pour un fleuri modéré. Palais est malté, carapils, assez sec et pétillant, pointe de caramel en arrière-plan. Garde ici aussi un petit côté beurre, sec et fleuri avec un fini houblonné presque à cru ponctué d’une note moyenne de levure lager. Ok, mais pas spécialement convaincante.

Draft @ Hops and Barley, Berlin. Cuivrée, col blanc cassé. Arôme est léger sur un bouquet houblonné assez noble Hallertauer pour un bouquet légèrement citronné. Palais est malté, pils pâle avec un léger arrière-goût houblonné assez noble. Fini sec pour une bière classique restant axée sur la malt, fini conserve une pointe diacétyle beurre léger ponctué d’un caramel modéré.

Draught. Hazy lemon with a thin head. Aroma is citrus hop. Flavor has some bread, dry citrus on a bitter powdery hop finish. Different than his usual stuff.

On tap at Hops & Barley, Berlin. Deep golden to amber with an off-white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma notes of mandarin, tropical fruits, malt and caramel. Medium+ body. Medium sweet with a pleasant bitterness. Smooth, tasty and refreshing.

On tap at Hops & Barley, Berlin. Deep mahogany with a tan head. Malty aroma with some roasty notes, caramel and hints of spices. Sweet, malty and bready, but well balanced with a light bitterness. Very nice dunkel! Fresh, delicious and very sessionable. I can drink this all night (and I did try that one time some years ago and it did work) (2013-10-11)

Draught. Cloudy amber with a large white head. Aroma is caramel malt. Flavour is very sour bitter, kinda pulls at the back of the throat. Caramel malt on a long extreme bitter finish. Tough beer.

Draught at Berlin Craft Beer 2013. Hazy brown with a solid tan head. Aroma of toasted caramel. Flavour is nutty caramel with a bittered caramel & hop finish.
