Keg at Andrew Usher’s. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Lively carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of peach and dried grass. Flavour of bitter hops, cereal and lime pith. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Decent but a tad harsh and tangy on the finish.

On keg at Ushers. Appearance - opaque black with an olive sheen. Nice fawn head. Nose - massive coffee and coconut notes with liquorice at the back. Taste - lovely coconut and chocolate bar thing. Avoid mentioning the brand. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly balanced finish. Overall - enjoyable.

On keg at Ushers, mais oui! Appearance - cloudy golden amber with a decent head. Nose - tangy orange note up front. Then a shy creamy note slowly appears. Taste - loads more tangy orange and the strawberry finally makes an entrance. Palate - light to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - I enjoyed this but I didn’t expect it to be so tangy.

On keg at Ushers. Appearance - hazy golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - funky banana and resin. Taste - tangy pineapple. Banana sweets. Light sweet spice note. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet tangy texture and a long dry tangy finish. Overall - the nose was ropey but it really improved after that. Good. And that’s considering I’m not really a fan of the style.
