Canned 10/20/17, drunk 12/8 and 12/14/17.
Big haziness and a brassy-gold-maize colored body with a very large, white head that is well-retained.
Heavy, juicy, bright guava is backed by light cracker-like malt notes, neither of which show any sign of age. Lightens up somewhat, with lemon-pear and light mango through the middle. So soft, yet still bright and snappy with no resin or pine whatsoever.
In the mouth it's pure guava-nectarine with very slight melon hints. Impressive lack of almost any citrus. No resin or pine, just juice and light bitterness through and through. Soft, dry, malty with tight carbonation. No flaw or alcohol. Pretty damned nice.

Tall can from AFH. Looks nice. pours with a 3 finger foamy gelatin like head. a little cloudy but mostly gold opaque. the aroma i bathroom toilet cake with apple, mold and yeast. maybe sourdough bread? hmmm, tart, apple skin, pear, fruity finish. no sweetness at all with a cat pee bitterness.

From the can. Caramel and hay aromas. Dry with sour hay and biscuit upfront turning to sour bitter earth in the lasting finish.

Pours cloudy gold into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes to skim surface. Mango and papaya aromas. Sharp with tropical fruit and pine upfront turning dry bitter pith in the lasting infers.

Poured from 16 oz. can from AFH hazy with a nice white head. Aroma is juicy fruit with herbal and floral hints. Taste is suprisingly soft with notes of integrated malt, well balanced hops, light pine and a juicy mango finish to round it out. Quite easy to drink.

16 oz. can from the brewery. Aroma shows me mango, mild herbal, with light floral hints. The flavor had a soft malt backbone that displays this different hop profile. The fruitiness and flowers show a very delicate balance. Bitterness is low with a nice juice followed by a drying texture. Goes down smooth.

16 oz. can from the brewery. Aroma of apricot, peach, honey, and mild caramel. The flavor does display some mild “juice” but the malt really takes over. The alcohol is not overly pronounced but as it warms it shows. This cradles the line of overly sweet but the juicy fruit helps out a great deal. Still nicely made.

16 oz. can shared by blind tasting with Chalumeaux in a four IPA blind taste test. This was the 3rd in the test taste. 2-9-18 with the date. Almost a cloudy gold color! Aroma shows me, cantaloupe pulp, pineapple and yeast. Aroma is better than the flavor. Cantaloupes hit upfront with a citrus rind finish. The finish is rindy and astringent. Very ruff around the edges. I love this brewery overall but... Not sure what the hell happened here. Comparing the price of $21.00 a four pack to any other IPA, ouch!!! Sorry Chalumeaux...

Poured from can dated 2/9/18 hazy peach with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus aromatic floral hops and light pine. Taste is cantaloupe rind astringent bitter hops and pine. Not sure if I can finish this taster. Might need to shelf this experiment. Like tasting a ricola cough drop. I would almost drink warm Heineken than this.

16 oz. can shared by Chalumeaux, much thanks. The color is a pink hue appearance. Aroma is all Berry, raspberry, cherry, Marionberries. Tart blueberry. The flavor is a reflection with no hops whatsoever. Berry purée with a sweet Berry finish. It is all Berry. No hops found anywhere. Where does the IPA come into play?? Brewing trends be damned.
