Huge beige head. Deep dark red barely translucent body, probably clear. Earthy roasty spicy aroma, kind of vague, some tropical wood. Dryish mealy roasty taste with fruity spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel, slightly fizzy. Dryish fruity spicy herbal aftertaste with tropical wood notes. Quite nice and understated, but a little too fizzy. (0.5l bottle (I think), from Gulating Strømmen.)

Bottle. An unclear dark golden to amber colored beer with a small, white head. The aroma is lightly citrusy, orange mostly, with some caramel malltyness. The flavor has a light bitterness, with pine cones and oranges, on a light bready and caramel back. It’s medium bodied and quite dry, decently carbonated. Not really bad this one, but it’s too gentle in most ways I think. 160806

Black color with a huge beige head. Almost a gusher. Quite over carbonated this one. Apart from that, nothing wrong with it. Decent aroma. Ok body. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Coffee and roasted flavor.

Flaske 500ml fra Coop Lærdalsøyri. Drukket på Sanden Hotell 16 Jun 16. Gyldenbrun. Middels høyt skum som daler raskt. Lett aprikosaroma. Smaken tørket aprikos med hint av karamell. Behagelig. Lett tørr avslutning. Godt øl!
