50cl bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg avd. Larvik. Pours very dark brown, close to black, with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with some earthy notes, dark fruits, hints of chocolate, coffe and licorice. Medium to moderate sweet with nice roasty flavour and a moderate bitterness. Medium body with fairly average carbonation. Decent brew.

Unclear dark golden color with a fine white head. Herbal, malty and mild fruity aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Tad sweet and an ok bitterness. Malty, mild wotrt-ish, herbal and mild fruity flavor. Nice ok thirst quencher.

Bottle. Very dark brown in color, with a minimal sized dark beige head. Mostly roasted and burnt aroma, with some licorice and dried fruits. Rather thin on the palate, with a soft carbonation. Dryish. Roasted malts, licorice and a touch of bonfire in the flavor. Some bitterness, mostly of the roasted malts kind. Long finish dominated by roasted and burnt malts. Nothing special going on here, rather boring too. Drinks easy though. 151107

Taste is slightly dry mineraly, weeds, wet grass, hay, bark, minerals, paper, alcohol, cardboard, wet hops. Medium bitterness, watery and slightly harsh mineraly mouthfeel. Meh!
