Bottle. A slightly milky pale golden body with a medium sized, short living white head. Aroma feels a bit like a walk by the seaside with seaweed and kelp, minerals and slightly acidic. Taste is also a bit like salt sea water, kelp, aquarium fish food, salt and acidic. Did not like this at all.

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a big, dense white had. Rather light in aroma, mostly like acidic berries. Flavor is light and refreshing with mild fruit and sour berries. The rhubarb is notable but has a taste closer to some kind of acidic berries. Medium body and average aftertaste. Decent but a bit plain.

Bottle. Slightly unclear golden body with a huge, foamy off-white head. Aroma is mostly malty with hint of caramel and some kind of mild, general fruitiness. Flavor is medium sweet malt, balancing caramel, toast and bitterness, some kind of fruitiness without finding any particular fruit. Balanced body and decent aftertaste in the same direction with a faint hint of metallic bitterness, but not enough to make it bad. Not the most exiting beer style and I’m not a big fan of the Bobek hop either, but considering this an English pale ale and not expecting the American hoppy interpretation of a pale ale it’s actually not a bad beer. It’s a fine balance between sweetness and bitterness, no outstanding flavors, but definitively very food friendly and giving it some time finishing the bottle (and not the sample) it grows a bit. A well-crafted beer in a modest style, might need some experience to be appreciated.

Bottle. Beautiful deep reddish, almost amber/brown body with a moderate sized off-white head. Aroma is malty with some toffee, toast and dry fruit. Flavor is sweet malt, some caramel, toast, resin and light pine with rather moderate bitterness. I don’t know the bottle day, but as my bottle has the best before day almost one year ahead I assume that it could not be a bad date even if it feels a bit like old hops to me. Drinkable and food friendly but also bit boring when drinking the whole bottle.

Bottle. Black body with a short living medium sized beige head. Aroma of sweet malt, lactose and cooked vegetables. Flavor is less sweet than expected but not much chocolate flavor and way too much vegetables. Medium body and average aftertaste. Not very successful.

500ml bottle, batch 264, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Frothy snow white head leaving crocheted lacing on the glass, misty pale golden body. Farmyard smell, grassy spices to it. Blended taste of kveik, grain, and pine. Spiced bitter endnotes. Fine depth. Quite alright. (Tromsø 25.08.2019).
