Aroma has sweet malty notes, hay, anise and hints of licorice. Flavour is spicy with anise, licorice, sweetish malt and hints of brown sugar. Quite strong on anise but I like it.

Flaske fra Qvickly, i godt lag på hytta: endelig en fra Pladderballe det var noe med! Dette er en helt ok ipa, med fin humlearoma og balansert smak. Den hadde også (i motsetning til de andre vimprøvde fra Pladderballe) ettersmak, og en behagelig sådan.

Flaske far Qvickly, i godt lag på hytta: 3 flasker fra Pladderballe for kr.50 kan virke som et godt tilbud, men det er bare Brodtgaard (en ipa) som er verdt å skrive om. Deres classic føyer seg inn i rekken av kjedelige danske industripilsener.

Flaske fra Qvickly, i godt lag på hytta: 3 ulike fra dette bryghuset for kr.50 så ut som et godt kjøp, men desverre var det bare Brodtgaard, en ipa, som er verdt å merke seg. Kalapøjser er et morsomt navn men det er også det eneste denne utmerker seg med.

Bottle. Pours hazy orange amber with small white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops with a touch of malt and caramel. Bitter, hoppy flavour with distinct notes of fruit and a touch of malt. Rather bitter finish. Drinkable but quite different from other Danish beers of this type.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Amber colour, small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, malty, mild acidic wooden notes as well as some toffee. Flavour is toffee, fruits, floral notes as well as some slight toasted maltyness and also some slight yeastyness to it.

Bottled. Deep brown colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is liquorice, toffee, syrup and wood along with some floral notes. Flavour is sweet fruits, liquorice, syrup, toffee and some mild yeastyness. Rather similar to the stout in many ways.

Bottled@CPH BF 2013. Reddish amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some toffeeish and mild coffeeish notes. Flavour is toffee, fruits, some liquorice, mild coffee as well as some raisins and mild metallic notes. Balanced, but a bit strange aftertaste.

Bottle from kvickly spinderiet. Unclear orange brown, smooth offwhite head. Mild fruity aroma, wheaty, malty. Caramelly notes, nether wheat nor caramel malts work very well with this one

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy but stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, vegetables and fart with a note of malt. Sweetish, malty taste, offset by hoppy bitterness and a veggie note. Dryish finish. Would be ok if it wasn’t for the dart and the veggies.
