cloudy yello,w smooth white head. bitter aroma, like a german pils, but this is an ale. very straight. flavor is malty, faint flowery notes, good european bitterness, this is pretty tasty, might have a slight sweet malty note to it, like south german area beer. a very tasty not-so-high alcohol beer, if you fancy bitter and straight.

50 cl bottle. Pours hazy brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is toasted malty, breadish. Light sourish. Toasted and breadish. Dry finish.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours dark brown with an orange hue and a small, beige head. Sweet, roasty, slightly smoky aroma. Medium body, some burned caramel and roast and again a tad smoky. No real bitterness. Surprisingly enjoyable. 271214

Bottle @ home shared by dad. Clear amber color, medium sized off-white head. Aroma is malts, hops and something that reminds me of a barley wine. Taste malts, bitter hops, bitter, a hint of overripe fruits. Decent body and carbonation.

50cl bottle from fakta spinderiet. fantastic name. clear brown, smooth offwhite head.nuts, sweet malts, perfumey marcipan, anise in the slightly strange aroma. flavor is anise, malts, faint herbal note. composition is not up to my expectations from svaneke or pladderballe, taste is too much anise, even though there is not that much of it. thingsjust doesn’t fit well together flavor wise. Technically the beer is good, tastes and feel like beer brewed with dedication.

500ml bottle, 4.7 % abv, from Skinnyviking (or was it djoeye?). Shared at a session with Stefan and Elisabeth. Golden body with a slight haze. Pearl white head leaving lacing rings down the glass. Mild nose of lemony hops, semi-sweet. Moderate taste of mid-sweet fruits and pale malts. Subdued bitter endnotes. Soft carbonated. Decent lager (Tromsø 20.10.2014).

Bottled. Dark brown, mid sized head. Medicinal caramelly nose. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Sugar and caramel, medicinal with notes of yeast. Low bitternes.
