Big brown head. Nearly opaque black body goes deep dark red at bottom. Spicy chocolatey earthy aroma with roasty mealy notes. Sweetish roasty chocolate pudding taste with spicy earthy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish chocolate pudding and earth aftertaste with fruity wild berry notes. Nice, drinkable, harmonic, and vivid. Put off drinking this because of the name, but it turns out to be a really good beer. (0.5l bottle, from Kihoskh, Copenhagen.)

And another 0,5 l bottle that I bought at the Kvickly supermarket in Nykøbing/Falster. Dark golden, nearly copper in the glass. Huge nearly three finger head. Malty and citrus on the nose. Taste starts malty with honey, orange sweetness, little bit herbal and smooth. Low carbonated. Some bitterness in the second row. Okay.

Årets vinner i Kvicklys ølfestivalg.
