On tap at Ljubljana Beer and Burger Fest, October 2017. Black, diminishing small head. Roasty, dark malts, light coffee and ash aromas. Very dry and roasty. Soft creamy texture, medium body, moderate carbonation, roasty finish. Liked it due to its dryness.

On tap at Ljubljana Beer and Burger Fest, October 2017. Murky pale golden, small head. Light grainy and bready aromas along with the grassy hops. Very sweet and bready. Medium body, soft carbonation. Don't worry, this is a very good lager!

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear amber with a lacing, white head. Vague fruitiness in the nose. Body is fruity and lightly sweet, vague perfumy hops and a dry finish with some bitterness. But totally lacking in the aroma. 011018

On tap at Pivo and Burger Fest, Ljubljana. Clear amber to red, small lasting off-white to beige head. Aroma is toasty, bready, woody, biscuit, something like that fake herbal white chocolate. Or sawdust. Burnt caramel, nutty. Very soft texture, light to medium body, moderate carbonation, light but lasting finish.

0.33 l bottle at Central Café, Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia. Murky orange, small off-white head. Although the date is good it didn't seem in good shape. Hops smelled old. Lightly hoppy, earthy and herbal notes. Mostly malty, honey, fruity, cookie. Light to medium body, soft to moderate carbonation. Light finish. Boring.

16 August 2018. At Pop's Place, Ljubljana. Cheers to Anke!
Pours hazy golden with a lasting, small, frothy, unstable, white head. Aroma of mango, yellow apple, lime, hard pear, faint lemon, bready malt, yeast, bit lactic. It tastes light fruity sweet, hints of mango & orange (peel), and light to medium hoppy bitter, piney & grassy with a limey sour touch. Dry, piney, resinous hoppy finish, lingering hoppy fruit but remaining quite 'European'. Medium body, slick texture, lively carbonation. Not very adventurous but plain good APA.

15 August 2018. At Sir William's Pub, Ljubljana. Cheers to Anke!
Pours hazy black with a lasting, small, frothy, yellowish beige head. Aroma of coffee filter, coffee pad, mocha, roasted malt, old toast, faint tobacco. It tastes light malty sweet, bit bready with bland chocolate, and light roasted bitter, coffee pad again, bland toast. Short, dryish finish, some toast, coffee, nothing spectacular. Light to medium body, slick texture, soft carbonation. Too bland and uninteresting; back to the drawing board with this one...

15 August 2018. At Sir William's Pub, Ljubljana. Cheers to Anke!
Pours clear pale yellow with a small, foamy, white head; little lacing. Aroma of lemon zest, ripe orange, yeast, breadcrust, white pepper, fresh lettuce, wheat. It tastes light malty sweet, a bit fruity, pineapple, and light to medium hoppy bitter, piney & a grainy touch; lemony, wheaty back. Dryish, citric finish, piney & grassy hoppy, slightly peppery, lingering basic fruitiness. Light to medium body, slick texture, fizzy carbonation. Quite the uncommon Pilsener!
