Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - dark amber to chestnut. Some head which disappears fairly quickly. Nose - honey and grain. Maybe some stewed apple. Taste - more honey, light malt (not quite biscuit), Palate - close to medium bodied with a tangy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - a bit too sweet.

500ml bottle from Booths, Penwortham. Pours clear copper brown, thin white head. Toffee apple aromas, caramel. Taste is honey sweet, stewed apple. Slightly thin finish.

Cask at Aston Manor Beer Festival; clear dark amber pour with a thin bubbly beige head, malty aroma, taste has toffee, a hint of orange, moderate bitter finish.

On cask at the Stan Laurel in Ulverston. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. A very slight haze. Nose - just a touch of orange intermingled with the pale malt. Taste - oranges and a slightly grainy malt backbone. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy yet malty texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - solid but not exciting.

New Oxford, Salford 27 Jan 13. Blekt gylden. Litt lacing. Ser ut som eplejuice. Svakt syrlig fruktaroma. Tynn syrlig fruktsmak. Blir veldig kjedelig.

Cask (gravity) @ The New Oxford, 11 Bexley Sq, Salford, Manchester, England M3 6DB.Clear medium orange yellow color with a small average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, pale malt, fruity malt, light hoppy, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130125]

Gravity cask at the Wandsworth Common Halloween Beer Festival - Le Gothique, London. Pours clear auburn with a frothy white head. The aroma holds light grainy bread and dried fruits. The flavor is medium sweet with light berries and other semi-ripe fruits, and bready malts. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish with further dry fruits, bread and leafy bitterness. Solid bitter.
