Description
We create everything from one-off experimental beers to a solid range of our favourite styles. There’s also a fair amount of dinosaurs (naturally) and retro video game references involved. We’re often at our Sneinton taproom, at various beer festivals, and obviously down the pub, so come and say Hi! Thank you for being on this journey with us and we hope you enjoy our beer as much as we enjoy making it!

Sunday evening 26th Aug 2018, the train home from Birmingham; four blokes sharing six beers, this was one of them. 440ml can, misty golden pour, white topping. Tropical fruit sweetness from start to finish with the aroma beginning the journey. However there were some not so sweet elements digging away in each sip; different and interesting.

Can from Craft & Cleaver, Milton Keynes. Purplish red and clear with almost no head. Sickly posset and the lactic aroma. A good Berliner scent but not getting a lot of berry. However it's in the taste in spades: the sour bitterness rounded by a fruity sweetness mixing with the aoursz milk note. Tart finish with more berry and a light medicinal sourness in the back of the throat. Intense for 3% and certainly worth trying but the overall package isn't so much to my taste although it certainly grows on me.

Can on the train back from the Brim Bimble, August '18. Pours hazy gold, small white head. Sweet malt nose. Dank, juicy citrus in taste, harsh alcohol, some grainy malt, quite zesty. Not bad.

Can on train back from Brum Bimble August '18. Pours misty gold, white head. Catty aroma, a touch sweet. Taste presents some lactic pineapple notes, a bit odd, herbal, bitter some sour notes, lactic element seems to take over the fruity moments. Bit confused is I think what I'm trying to say.

Can. Hazy orange - gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Nose of tangu pineapple led tropical fruits and a touch of piss. Smooth palate, light fine carbonation. Smooth malts, modest sweetness, a little vanilla. Very tangy tropical fruits follow the nose and up the intensity. Light finish. Hmm, it's okay but slightly awkward. More of a sour IPA than a milkshake IPA. Perhaps Ratebeer should disappear farther up it's own arse and introduce the 'not that hazy sour milkshake IPA' style.
