Description
We create everything from one-off experimental beers to a solid range of our favourite styles. There’s also a fair amount of dinosaurs (naturally) and retro video game references involved. We’re often at our Sneinton taproom, at various beer festivals, and obviously down the pub, so come and say Hi! Thank you for being on this journey with us and we hope you enjoy our beer as much as we enjoy making it!

Keg at Craft CG. It pours opaque jet black with a medium tan head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, milky, creamy, toasted marshmallow, fragrant, Turkish delight, tangy cherry and Black Forest gateaux. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, tangy fruits, berry, chewy, ashy, leather, tannin, mint chocolate, floral, Turkish delight, toothy feel, spice and some alcohol warmth. Medium+ body, fine carbonation and oily mouth - feel. Novel stuff.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo Bottleshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Tuesday 29th May 2018 on a day when I wouldn't normally drink. Cooking Cream of Asparagus and Celery Soup. Pours hazy yellow with a white head. Juicy and fruity (mostly tropical) with quite a good bitterness for the style, and whilst sweet, soft, creamy and juicy (again) and displaying all of those yawn....NEIPA usual characteristics this does finish a little dry. Like this a lot. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Can 440ml (BG, BBE 09/2018)
Deep amber colour, good beige head. Aroma has tropical fruits and yeastyness. Medium-bodied. Citrus, caramalts, fruits in the flavour. Crisp front. It has some juicyness but this is closer to "normal" American IPA than NEIPA. Like in the other beer of them I had, here too yeast flavours and malts knock out hop bite.

Can 440ml (BZ, BB 09/2018)
Dark amber colour, medium-sized beige head. Nose has tropical fruits and resin but it is a bit on heavy side with some "fermentation gases". Medium-bodied. Sticky riped fruits, caramalt, resin, citrus and alcohol. Flavour is matching to nose: it is ok but this beer is a slow sipper malty DIPA. Maybe yeast flavours knock some of the hop character too.

Can picked up from Beer Gonzo Webshop, Earlsdon, Coventry, consumed at home Friday 18th May 2018 cooking Jumbo Prawns with Tomato, Dill and Fenugreek, down the garden by the pond. Pours hazy warm orange, really orangey with a big white head that sticks to the sides of the glass. Juicy but with a good tropical challenge, quite a sweet but tangy sharp zap, like a zippy orange, zesty with a hit of passion fruit, persimmon. This is a lovely beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov16 3.9

Keg at Smithfield Market Tavern, yesterday. Notes: "Bitter thin IPA. OK." Didn't put much down but I was not overly impressed. One dimensional other than a quinine bitterness that I was not overly keen on.

Keg at CBC Covborn, 25/04/18. Black with a decent tan cap that dissipates in time to a swirl. Nose is chocolate, floral, Turkish Delight evident, sweet malts. Taste comprises mellow roasted tones, More Turkish Delight, perfume, light spice, toffee, chocolate. Medium plus in body, fine carbonation, semi drying close. No great ... lacks balance ... sippable though in small doses.
