Tap at Winter Affair '25. Notes are brief. Peanuts and chocolate are assertively present, but the rest of the flavour is kinda lagging behind. Feels simple, lacking a bit more stouty robustness. Overall good, but not great.

Third, shared with Finn. Jet black in the glass, spotty lacing from a film-type layer. Smoothly roasted dark malty aromas dominated by mid-sweet chocolate. Solid taste profile with nutty chocolate, honey, and vanilla sweetness. Ends with a lingering vanilla chocolate twist. Full bodied. Rather sweet in the long run, but still an enjoying sipper. This one grew on me. Soft and pillowy, massaging carb, nice sun-kissed biscuits, a nip of caramel, bready malts, mild bitter straw and grass. More I drink, the better it gets.

One-third pint. unclear pale yellow body, spotty lacing from a patchy, white surface. Moderate fruity aromas, lemony hops up front. Hop fruity flavours with a bite of lemon and pineapple. Lemony moments to the end. Rather thin mouthfeel. Okay. (Liverpool, 12.02.2025).
