Description
The Ayr Brewing Company brewed it's first ales in October 2009, and in a short space of time gained numerous awards at both local and national level. As a 5 Barrel Micro Brewery we are currently producing around 60 casks of ale a week and supplying pubs throughout the UK. We are the first brewery in the area for over 80 years and operate out of The Glen Park Hotel, where you can enjoy a delicious meal and our ales on tap in the bar/restaurant.

Bottle from Glen Park Hotel, Ayr. Appearance - opaque black with a lovely fawn head. Nose - creamy dark chocolate. Just a hint of strawberry. Taste - light strawberry but big cocoa and dark chocolate thing is really dominant. Palate - medium to full bodied with a creamy texture and a long elegant finish. Overall - very nice.

Bottle from the Glen Park Hotel, Appearance - opaque black. Fawn-ish head. Nose - yeah, there's passion fruit in there if you look around a bit. Mainly chocolate stout notes though. Initial thing is roastiness. Taste - dark chocolate, raisins, fruit 'n' nut bar. Definitely fruity, but not sure I could tell it was passion fruit. Palate - creamy and at least medium bodied. Dry roasty finish. Overall - good.

Bottle care of McNeeeel. It pours clear rich golden with a small white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, oily, bread pudding, brioche and general fruity character. The taste is slick, oily, bread pudding, sticky, heavy sweetness, oats, touch of fruit, porridge and toasty grain with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Fair.
