Bottle. A faintly cloudy amber colored beer with a dense, finger-thick beige head. Some lacing. The aroma is mostly on the roasted side, with dried fruits, bread and some toffee. Not much hoppyness, but some grass and pine needles hits the nose. It’s quite dry on the palate, medium bodied and decently carbonated, bitter too, with bready, toffee-ish flavors in the back. Prunes, pine cones, some resin and cola in the flavor. Lasting bready, toffee-ish and bitter finish. Orange zest. Not bad this one, unfortunately we drank it a bit old, guess it would be more interesting when fresher. 161118

Bottle. It’s a more or less clear one, dark amber in color and with a small, dense, light beige head. Malty, bready aroma with some raisin and a touch of cellar. Some grassy, resiny hints too. It’s ful to medium bodied, smooth and nicely carbonated, rather dry, with flavors of bitterness and roasted malts dominating. Some resin and grass, bread and roasted hints, and a good dash of raisins. Long dry and bitter finish. A bit harsh bitterness though, which pulls down the score a bit. Else it’s a decent beer. 161118

Aroma gjær, sommer, gress, sitrongress, noe krydder. Utseende lys strågul med lett hvitt skum. Smak fruktig, rund og sjelden god saison, godt balansert, man kjenner noe pepper i bakgrunnen. Veldig godt øl

500ml bottle bought from djoeye. Firm off-white head resting over a cloudy, apricot coloured body. Clingy lacing. Attractive mid-sweet aromas of caramel, dried fruits and herbal hops. Fine blended flavours profile of mild syrup, caramel and leafy hops. Piney bittersweet finish. Smooth in the mouth. Successful pairing with the cheese and ham pie. Well-crafted (Tromsø 10.09.2016).

500ml bottle many thanks to Liss-Mari for this beer gift. Deep mahogany coloured body. A beige tophead with fine duration. Clingy lacing on the glassware. Inviting smell of dried fruits, earth and dark dough. Fine blended taste character of dark and dried fruits alongside moments of caramel malts. Rounded mid-sweet malty finish. Medium bodied. Quite enjoying (Shared with Finn at his place, Tromsø 09.09.2016).

Bottle. It’s a clear, golden colored beer with a dense, white head. The aroma is quite weak, with pale malts, oranges and some grass. Rather harsh bitterness in the flavor, with some grassy, hoppy notes. Fruityness too. Medium body and a soft carbonation, quite dry. Long bitter, fruity finish with a harsh bitter touch.
