Description
We use the finest floor malted grains, fresh hops and multiple strains of fresh brewers yeast and microbes. Ingredients are chosen simply for their contribution to the product rather than the effect on bottom line.

Our beer is then handled as carefully as possible with the minimum of processing to create the best beer possible. We constantly strive to improve. Looking to modern peers, ancestors and our own experimentation. Beers that evolve and change over time. Embracing new ingredients, technology and innovation.

Keg at New Forest Beer Fest. Aroma is pulpy and sweet - fruit and vanilla porridge. Cloudy milky light brown or whatever that is. Thin translucent white head. Sweet. Fruity. Sugary. Bitter streak sweeps in - resinous and herbal. Fried onion. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Interesting.

Hell of train beer! A cold, spiced coffee to keep me awake just enough to get to York...

On tap at Ebenezer’s, Crewe. Pours almost black with a small foamy beige head and excellent lacing. There’s roasted malts and lactose in the aroma. In the mouth it is slightly sweet with roasted malts, oats, lactose chocolate and vanilla. Later on some hints of ginger come through as well. A little bitterness in the finish. This is quite nice – plenty of character.
