bottle, many thanks to kappldav123! Hazy straw-golden colour, mid-sized head. Malty-yeasty nose. Medium-bodied, malty base with nice fruity-yeasty hints and grassy-resiny hops. Very nice.

Bottle, bought at the brewery. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass light golden, small head. Starts mild but not washy. Fine yeasty-malty notes. Modest fruity like banana and apricot. Modest sweet. Finish mild, well balanced. Quite drinkable. Nice!

Draught at the brewpub. Looks good in the glass, deep black, nice head. Starts mild-malty, hints of coffee, dry. Mild finish, less dry. Very drinkable. Nice!

The color is almost black, but still shows some red reflex. The aroma is mild, with some roasted malts, and buttery like the UrTyp. Correct body structure, with good roasted malt flavor, not excessive, and light traces of butter; possibly there is some light sourness here too. Drinkable, but flawed.

Dark amber-brown color; creamy head. Aroma of caramel and cream. There is a bit too much carbonation to appreciate a malty beer; dry caramel flavor, with light butter traces (diacetyl); ordinary bitterness with a nutty touch in the end. Mediocre.

Cloudy deep blond color; creamy head. After the UrStoff, this one as well, smells of dirty water and feet. The flavor is too sour, I fear an infection or fermentation problem; the underlying beer has a bit of spice character and very little fruitiness. Off.
