Description
We are seven actual brothers of the McAvoy family from Salford who love beer (we also have four sisters who love gin). It was our Dad who first got us into beer – he used to home brew when we were kids and so for us, there’s a lovely nostalgia in everything about beer. We brew our beer in Salford, where we also have our Tap Room – you can come over and visit any time!

Creamy off white head stayed on a near black still body. Looks lovely. Coffee, malt & burnt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth & creamy with a thinner clean back. Chocolate, coffee, toffee, malt & nutty tastes with a nicely hopped citrus finish. Good one.

Can from Booths Supermarket, Media City, Salford. Golden with a small head. Hopped brew with a strength, but still fairly fresh tasting, with a hint of mildy sweet fruit that's at its most flavoursome in its aftertaste.

330ml can from the 2021 Beerwulf advent calendar. Poured a clear golden colour with a big frothy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is not surprisingly big passionfruit. The flavour is moderate to light sweet, with a light, slightly watery, crisp, juicy passionfruit, mineral palate. Medium to light bodied with lively carbonation.

440ml can from an Asda: BB 13th October 2022. Drank at home on 26th November 2021. Misty pale golden in colour, white top. Not much going on to be honest, boring blend of wheat flakes and corn flakes. Brewer will call the flavours 'Subtle' I'd call them 'bland'.

Overly large foamy head on a reddish brown highly carbonated body. Sour plum & blueberry aroma. Medium bodied, sharp over the tongue with a gassy back. Blueberry, plum, sour & pithy citrus tastes with an extremely tangy finish. Palate cleaner.
