Flaska från SB. Mörkt mörkt brun, lågt skum. Oren lätt syrlig doft med blöt kartong, nejlikor. Lätt syrlig ganska fadd smak, måttlig sötma och ganska kryddig. Drickbar men inte ok.

Bottle. Lovely label. Pitch black with a mid beige head, lacings. Aroma is gentle sweet, vanilla, ash, licorice, roasted notes. Taste is sweet vanilla up front, roasted notes, espresso, licorice, clear salmiak notes, close to salty, not too bitter, finishes long, dry with roasted notes, coffee, some bitterness. Very well balanced.

Bottle. Pitch black with a mid brown head, lots of lacings. Aroma is gently roasted with malt, coffee, leather as qell as sweeter notes paired with an obvious blueberry note. Taste is medium sweet and roasted notes up front, coffee, blueberries towards the finish which is dry, bitter with coffee notes. Medium body, round texture. Maybe a bit young, props for such distinct blueberry notes, body could be bigger. Very interesting!

330ml bottle, vintage 2015, bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø earlier this year. A beige head on top of a near-clear mahogany coloured body. Spotty lacing down the glass. Dried fruity smell, lightly spiced. Taste fine with moments of bread, caramel, ripe orange and some spices backed by hints of dark berries. Drying, mid-sweet, warming finish. Well bodied. Fits the season, rather sweet though (Shared with Finn and djoeye, rating session in Tromsø 10.12.2016).

Bottled (from Systembolaget Umeå). Amber colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is fruity, floral, some slight raisins, alcohol, mild toffee and some hops as well. Flavour is fruity, alcoholic, wooden and rather strong floral hoppiness as well as some gluelike sweetness. Wellbalanced and rather big kicking hops to it.

Hazy, murky brown color, firm brownish head. Sweet, malty, very hoppy, hop oily aroma. Full-bodied. Malty sticky, toffeish, woody, very hoppy, hop oily. Certainly crossover of UK and US. Interesting.

On tap at Akkurat, Stockholm, Friday 18th November 2016 Amber n colour with a small off-white head. Fruity but also caramel and with an oily thickness in the mouth. Warming from the alcohol, though drinks quite well for the abv, it’s got a good hoppy kick and bitter edge to stamp down that sweetness. Good. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
