Decent enough pale ale, not as juicy-fruity as claimed.

Deep dark brown coloured body with a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head that fades relatively quickly. Aroma of roasted malt, alcohol, light cherries, a ton of oatmeal, lactose, pitted fruits, nuts, earth and a lot of spices noticeable at the end showing some anise, licorice and a touch of cardamom. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong burnt malt flavours with the oatmeal and grain noticeable strongest, but also a lot of alcohol, some subdued lactose, cream, vanilla and soy sauce/meatiness with a lot of sweetness from the burnt sugars, caster sugar, vanilla and a touch of pitted fruits near the end. Aftertaste shows the pungent grain and alcohol by far the strongest, but also some vanilla, roasted malt, cream, lactose and a touch of sweetness from cherries noticeable at the very tail end. Overall, a nice and interesting beer that has aged well and shows some good characteristics without being too pungent or strong. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Beverage Warehouse in Winooski, Vermont on 19-September-2016 for US$3,85 sampled at home in Washington on 23-February-2019 about two and half years later, but this did well with the age.

Can, from Nikki's @ Providence, RI. pours opaque dark brown with large foamy beige head that leaves a lot of lacing, sweet mocha aroma, adequate carbonation, bitter mocha taste with a bit of milky sweetness, thin body, long bitter coffee beans finish. Solid brew,

16 ounce can. Hazy gold color. Large frothy white head. Citrusy hop nose. Citrus hop flavor. Notes of lime and Amarillo. What's the frequency Kenneth? Tart and effervescent. You know you want some. Go out and find it. Now leave me alone already.

12 ounce can. Opaque black pour. large rocky tan head. Pleasing roasted malt nose hints at cocoa. First sips brings notes of roasted malt, milk chocolate and dark toasted white bread. Slightly earthy with burnt undertones in middle. Dry, bitter chocolate finish. Becomes more complex as it warms. Delicious.

Pours a slightly hazy straw from a can. Pineapple aroma is very prevalent, but fades in the mouth, general tartness. Good beer.
