Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/3/2020. Near black in colour, with a frothy, off-white, head. Toasty malts, a touch of brown sugar and some subtle lilac character in the gentle finish. Fine.

Cask at Harp, Charing Cross. 04/03/20. Nil aroma. Bronze. Very thin translucent white head. Medium bitter. Sour edged grainy follow through. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Fizzy carbonation. Astringent finish. I guess it's an old school English IPA.
