Description
We first fell in love with brewing on the stove at home, surrounded by pots, pans and raw ingredients. Tinkering endlessly, we studied the ancient art of our vocation. Nomadically brewing around the country, we learned from fantastically generous, knowledgeable artisans, honing our craft along the way.
Today, we’ve outgrown our roots as nomadic brewers, and operate out of two production sites. The first, a brewery we built in St Werburghs, Bristol, is where we focus on our core range of beers, constantly refining the recipes to bring you an ever evolving, perfect pour. New challenges continually arise and are met by our talented team of resourceful brewers, as we continue producing top notch beers whilst adhering to strict social distancing measures. Usually host to our tap room, we’re already looking forward to re-opening the York Street brewery to our friends, family and local community for fresh beers once we all come out the other side. At our second Bristol site, the Barrel Store, work continues on our complex, mixed fermentation and wild yeasted beers. Here, we serve as custodians over our barrel-aged brews as they develop on different kinds of wood.
Ever evolving in the quest for refinement, all of our recipes stem from the desire to create something beautiful and delicious.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with minimal tan head and good lacing. The aroma is mainly roast malts with just a trace of vanilla. In the mouth it is quite sweet with a creamy texture. Flavour of oats, lactose and roasted malts plus hints of chocolate, porridge and cola. A little bitterness in the finish. This is decent.
