From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small off white head. Roasted malty, breadish, chocolate and caramelish. Sweet chocolate, light powdery. Toasted, toffee and solid bitter. Dry and roasted finish.

Draft. A hazy dark golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of peaches and oranges. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, peaches, and susty hops, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

On tap at Ashley Down brewery, Bristol 22/3/2014. Golden with a slight white head. Tropical fruits, pineapple and tangerines, with some crisp malts and a decent, dryish finish. Good.

On tap at Ashley Down brewery, 29/4/2014. Deep amber with a slight, off-white head and moderate carbonation. Sweet, orange fruits and citrus hops, with a touch of pine, some crisp mlats and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Batch 3, bottled 19/12/13 - Pours amber orange with a bubbly white head. Aroma of toffee, caramely malts, fruity hops, grass, citrus and juicy fruits. Taste is smooth, hoppy and caramely with grassy bitterness, pine, resin, juicy fruitness and toffee. Finish is hoppy, lingering bitter and grassy with some caramely malts and toffee. Quite nicely hopped amber ale.

500ml bottle. Slightly cloudy golden colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Biscuity caramel malty aroma, citrusy hoppy overtones, lemon zest, some orange. Taste is minimally sweet caramel malty, some biscuit, citrusy hoppy overtones, orange, mandarine, lemon and orange zest; lasting, bitter finish. Superbly balanced, very tasty - excellent.

500ml bottle. Cloudy amber colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Hoppy aroma has notes of tropical fruit, grapefruit, a touch of mango, a resinous and piney touch, cautiously peppery hints of green onions, malty background with almond touch. Taste is bitter and fruity hoppy, a touch of grapefruit, some peach, a minimally sweaty resinous touch, some pine, bearing malt basis. Long lasting finish with a twist from primarily hoppy to mainly malty with a nuttily touch; very soft palate. Really, really nice!
