Sampled on tap at Churchkey DC. Pours a translucent black with a thin, slightly off white head. Aroma is mostly toasted malts, nuts, slightly sweet. Flavor is sweet and malty, a little earthy. Finish is a little watery and a little sweet. Standard porter.

@Pilsner Petes East Coast Gathering-growler–pours a light tan head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is pine, bready. Taste is some bitter pine, sweet light malt-bready, semi-dry. Thanks notalush for sharing.

Thanks to beachbum25 for the growler - shared at Peter’s NY gathering - a fairly straightforward pale ale - somewhat british in style, as the hops take a back seat to yeasty character and bready malt - some tangerine and other fruity notes through the middle - the hops add a spicy bite on the back end - the finish has an odd metallic note, but otherwise this is fairly good.
