Poured up on tap at the Mesa AZ Brass Tap where it exhibits a fully opaque papery deep gold body with some copper like hues and supporting a nice white head. Nice looking gose. The aroma offers up some tart acidic citrus, a pear to peach fruitiness and then a bready cracker like sensation rimmed with salt. This will work. The taste delivers a refreshing restrained acidic citrus like tartness flowing quickly into a thin sweet river of pear like fruity esters. To midway the salt and cracker breadiness comes forward. Into the finish a mild funky yeast note is noticed blending into a lingering fruity ester sweetness that takes something away from the experience. Still this is a refreshing thirst quenching beer when it’s over 105F like today.

Poured up on tap at the Mesa, AZ Brass Tap where it exhibits a copper body that has some nice hop haze going on and supporting a tan head that leaves behind some sheet lacing. The aroma offers up light caramel and fruity esters and then firm near eye searing pine hops with a faint hit of floral hops in the background. The taste delivers a wide load of resiny bitter pine hops that are thickened up nicely by some smooth semi sweet maltiness. The resiny sappy hop bitterness only grows to midway and then allows for a sliver of floral hops to peak out from time to time. Nice bitter old school IIPA. As it warms just a bit I get a sense of earthy tea like hoppiness.

Poured up on tap at the Mesa, AZ Brass Tap where it exhibits a clear deep copper body that supports a light tan head. The aroma offers up minerals, spices, cinnamon graham cracker and faint malts. The taste delivers similar as I get some minerals, a bit of sour spices, a bready note and then it gets a little watery to midway. Somehow this really isn’t working for me.
