Draught sample at "Beers 2012" exhibition in Tel Aviv. Cloudy dark orange-brown with a medium white head. Aroma of fruity esters, bubblegum and a bit of malt. Very sweet fruity flavor with some malt, caramelly notes, lots of bubblegum and a bit of alcohol. Finishes slightly drier. Medium-bodied. Too sweet and candy-ish but not so bad.

Bottle. Slightly hazy amber color with a huge creamy beige head. Hoppy aroma with flowers, citrus and spicy notes, light graininess, some malt and yeasty notes. Flavor starts sweetish and malty, bready and a bit biscuity with light fruitiness, and finishes with nice, pretty strong spicy hops bitterness with light citric notes. A nice lager.

bottle. New beer for the new jewish year. I would not call this your average vienna bit it is the closest style i could think off. Big gushing head, hazy darkish orange colour, fragrant herbal hoppy aroma with touches of vanila, rubber and honey, bread and cereal malty flavour with some fruitiness in the back and a distinct grapefruit bitterness, quite long, bitter sour aftertaste. Very pleasant brew that is quite original.

Draught at the brewpub. Light brown. Strong, sweet and slightly toasty. Simple caramel palate, with a thick body. Could be tough to pint this.

"Amber". Amber colour and hazy. A little bit of funky yeast on the palate with sweet biscuity character. Boring and not very well done.

At the brewpub. Cloudy tan. Fresh malty aroma. Light esters. A little bit funky, though, muddled wheat and yeast character.

Hazy blonde with a big, Belgian-ish head. Has a dusty, Duponty nose complete with hops and bready malts. The malts on the palate are a mix of thin and doughy. The hops, sadly, do not materialize on the palate. Ok overall, but disappointing after that nice nose.

Bottle brought by Michael Rosenow. Enjoying together with some Taybeh brews from Palestine. Beer for peace! A cloudy, light amber color, with a thin fizzy head. Fruity and bubble gum smell. Definitely bottle conditioned. Turns out a bit sour.I thought maybe it got too warm in transit. Though Michael says he was at their brewery and a couple other beer places, and they tend to drink their beers a little sour. Can I put it up to warmer climates?

Bottle brought by Michael Rosenow. Enjoying together with some Taybeh brews. Beer for peace! This pours dark, with bubbly amber foam. Slightly sugary malt smell. The taste turns out to be quite complex. A little spicy, some plum to it, some sour. Spice could be from any wheat malt.I also finish with notes of black pepper, anise and toffee.

Bottle from 4-pack, thanks to Michael Rosenow’s visits to Israeli and Palestinian brew sites! Cloudy with a puffy head. A bit of lemon sourness to it. Taste shows a little horseblanket that I thought meant it was made with a Belgian yeast. I did not think it was a hefe. But Michael and I agreed it had more life to it than an American wheat ale. Wow, I’m the first American RB’er to get a bottle of this!
