Handpull cask at the Goat & Tricycle. Dark gold, clear with an uneven white head. Hay, bitter tea, some butterscotch on the aroma. Bitter taste with an astringency to the finish. Flat body. Not sure about this one.

Cask at the brewpub. Malty aroma with some spice. Hazy girls. Thick creamy white head. Initial fruity sourness before malts kick in. Citrus becomes more prominent. Light-medium bodied. Average-flat carbonation. Long dry astringent finish. Raw Golden Ale.

Cask at the brewpub. Fruity aroma. Some malts. Some vinegar. Dark amber. No head. Bitter with a sour berry streak. Both gain strength. Medium bodied. Slick. Average-flat carbonation. Astringent finish. Decent enough trad British ale.

Cask @ The Goat and Tricycle. Nice head with good duration. Color is amber. Aroma and taste are caramel, fruits, nuts, hops and has a nice hoppy fruity finish.

Cask at the Red Shoot Inn, New Forest, Hampshire. Poured mid/chestnut brown with a small off-white to beige head. Aroma of malt, caramel, moderate roasting, dark fruits, berries, and as hint of chocolate. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness. Medium body, slightly watery texture, soft carbonation.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Red Shoot Muddy Boot ].Clear medium brown amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, berry notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light acidic with a average duration, caramel, tart - sour notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20140813]

From cask. Pours hazy brown with a small off white head. Aroma is breadish. Toffee and caramelish. Bitter, toasted malty and breadish. Dry and toffee malty finish.
