Sample at Fifty West. The beer is a hazed yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of spices, yeast and malt. Medium-bodied with flavors of herbal yeast, ripe fruit and malt. The finish is fruity up front with a spiced aftertaste. Decent overall.

On draught at Blind Bob’s in Dayton. This beer pours a clear dark brown color with a thin khaki head that diminishes steadily to an outer ring. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of malt and sweet caramel. Light-bodied and tastes like a glass of flat root beer, with some caramel in the background. The finish is sweet with a root beer and caramel aftertaste. Just average overall.
