Keg at Amundsen. Pours hazy brown, caramel and toffee nose, taste is sweet, caramel, dry. Got some odd flowery notes which must have been the fennel.

On tap at Patricks. Deep golden-orange colour with a white head. Aroma is orange, hop, malt, pine. Flavour is dry, hop, pine, grapefruit, orange, citrus, malt. A decent IPA .

Pours slightly hazy deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, floral and grass. Taste is light sweet and light bitter. Body is light to medium, texture is thin to oily, carbonation is soft.

Appearance: Hazy golden color with a small white head. Some lacing.
Aroma: Mild wort and malty.
Palate: Medium body. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Some wort, malty and mild fruity.
Overall impression: Ughh not very inviting this one.

On tap at Una Bryggeri og Kjøkken. It’s a lightly hazy dark golden beer with a small dense off-white head. The aroma has some yeast, pale malts and some grassy and peppery hops. It’s full bodied and a bit too warming. The flavor is quite fruity, with some malts, caramel and a faint bitterness. Grainy, fruity finish with enough bitterness to deal with the malty sweetness. A decent one, but there’s certainly room for improvement. 140616
