Black, opaque with thin dark cream head. Sweet aroma of hazelnut and coffee. It's a predominantly sweet flavour profile with Nutella and sweet milky coffee. There is a bitter twist too through the roasted malt. It saves it

31/5/2024. From cask at the 37th Colchester Real Ale and Cider Festival. Pours very slightly hazy pale gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, straw, grapefruit. Moderate developing sweetness, medium bitterness, light tart edge. Moderate body, slightly watery, sift carbonation. Easy drinker.

Clear extra pale gold with a frothy/creamy white head. Smells like wine gums, light bodied with big tropical fruit flavours, a little hop kick and a dry, bittersweet finish

Surprisingly adventurous for EB. Rather thin though...

Cask @ The Baum, Rochdale. Light hazy golden with a head. Easy enough pale, light fruit notes in both aroma and taste, subdued as a tad watery, sweet exotic design. Stone fruit aftertaste.

Well kept cask ale, half-pint, shared with Finn at Bacchus. Covering pearl white head, unclear grey-golden body, spotty lacing. Moderate fruity aromas, hints of orange. Dough fruity taste, with an impact of citrus. Soft fruity ending. Fair enough. (Newcastle upon Tyne, 19.03.2024).

Lovely chocolaty truffly facewash. Well done EB, though it took 8.0% to get there...
