On draught at the Columbus brewpub. The beer is a slightly hazy orange color with a thin white head that evaporates steadily to a sparse outer ring. Spotty lacing. Yeast, fruit and malt in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of fruity yeast, mild grassy hops and biscuit malt. The finish is fruity with a yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bottle. Bronze beer with a dark cream head. Toasty caramel aroma. Toasty caramel flavor with light grapefruit. Medium bodied. Toasty grapefruit lingers with light grapefruit.

On draught at the Columbus brewpub. The beer pours a flat black color with a medium foamy khaki head that diminishes steadily to a film. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of bourbon, oak and malt. Full-bodied with an oaky bourbon character and notes of roast malt, vanilla and dark chocolate. The finish is moderately boozy with a bourbon and malt aftertaste. Pretty good effort overall.

Aroma of roast malt, dark chocolate and coffee. Medium to full body with flavors of charred malt, bittersweet chocolate and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
